Hi Trazzers & Bbellyboo,

Good luck with both your weightloss journey's.

As Sue says, the plan works. If you stick with it, the pounds will just melt away. Of course the hardest part is probably always going to be sticking with it, and not giving in. So far the thing that's kept me on the straight and narrow is worrying about coming out of the ketosis, and knowing that if I trigger my carb monster, I'll struggle to get back in control. Using the packs definitely stops me thinking constantly about food, like I used to. It's like switching my mind off from it, so much so that I forget to go buy the family more food! Oops!

You have a fantastic goal to aim for, and just imagine the choice of outfits you're going to have, but more importantly you're practically guaranteed to lower your blood pressure by improving your weight and health.

Bbelly, I do the scale hopping too, but have now managed to do like Sue, and just go for a mid-week then weekly weigh. My weight slowed a bit in my 2nd week, and weighing daily was a bit demoralising. I left it a couple of days, and hey presto! I lost.

Good luck with your first week both of you.

Its always good to have new keebees on board. Its nice that the both of you are on the same
days, you will be able to share your journeys together and compare notes.

I am into week 6 and have been really pleased with my results. Its certainly true that if you put
in the effort you will get the rewards. You will love getting on the scales and seeing those lbs go
down. I know what you mean when you say your always on the scales, i used to do that too but
now i maybe only have a peek halfway through the week now.

It helps to have a tracker so you can see the weight disappearing.

Have you ladies got any fav shakes or bars yet, my personal fav is the coconut bar (you have to
love coconut obviously) and the spag bog and cottage pie have been life savers.

Have a good week end, keep drinking the water, thats the key to this.

Any questions just ask, someone will help you out

Hope you are well. wishing you both luck on the plan, it really does work and having targets or reasons why you want to lose sometimes give you that extra push. Next June will come round so fast. You must be so excited.

Trazzer - Another newbie ......

Post by trazzer on Fri Mar 30, 2012 7:42 pm

Hiya Fellow Dieters .....
I'm just starting day 3 , of kee diet so I would welcome your support . I have been a bit of a serial dieter over the years alway's starting off well then the usual old story of falling back into my " secret chocolate eating way's " .......
But , and it's a big but at that !!!! It's really time to take stock on my life , I've got high blood pressure which is most probably due to my weight gain , and I've also got my Daughter's wedding coming up next June so now is my time to crack on with the de - blubber . My aim is to be slim enough to wear what I like and not have to pick clothes just because they fit . Anyway onwards and upwards eh , here's to less of us ! ( I'm raising my breakfast shake for us all ) Very Happy
